BEHIND THESE HANDS…

...STANDS SOMEONE WHO CARES

Who is Lorenzo Terranova?

What are my passions?

"I have a deep love for nature:
I find balance in the calm of walks and bike rides through the mountains, as well as in diving into the sea. I believe in the importance of harmony between mind and body, and I cultivate it also through music. I am passionate about playing the guitar and piano, singing, and engaging in hands-on activities like DIY projects and woodworking.
Above all, I am passionate about helping people regain well-being and harmony in their bodies."
"I am a cheerful and curious person. Curiosity has always accompanied me and drives me to understand the body and what it communicates.
I am married and deeply believe in the value of authentic relationships. I cultivate my spirituality as a space for inner listening, a personal journey that helps me maintain balance.
My wife and I chose to move to Switzerland from Italy. It was a decision driven by a deep attraction to the mountains, the beauty of nature, and the way the landscape is experienced and respected here. The closeness of the Swiss people to nature, their connection to the environment, and the more mindful pace of daily life deeply fascinated us and made us feel at home."

Why do I do this work?

"I believe that we are all born with a vocation: something that initially piques our curiosity and, by exploring it, we realize it is what we were meant to do.
I have always been fascinated by the functioning of the human body, which is why I chose to pursue the path of an Osteopath.
Day by day, what began as simple curiosity turned into a deep passion for understanding the body’s mechanisms and how they relate to one another.
Over time, however, I realized that this passion was not only about engaging with the body or the desire to make it work better. There was something more driving me…
to help people feel better and to see serenity on their faces."
"I work in Italian and English and I am studying German, with the desire to welcome more and more people in a clear, respectful, and inclusive way.
I believe in a therapy based on presence, listening, and continuity, where the hands become a tool for guidance, support, and awareness."
"For over three years, I have been guiding people in the treatment of pain and discomfort through tailored approaches, based on conscious care, where the person can truly feel listened to and supported."

How do I work?

"I completed a five-year training in Osteopathy in Italy. This path allowed me to develop a broad understanding of the human body and its adaptation mechanisms.
During my years of study, I became increasingly fascinated and curious about how the body functions and its ability to self-regulate when placed in the right conditions.
For this reason, I continue to study and deepen my knowledge through training courses. I am attending a ten-year course in Biodynamic Osteopathy and a three-year course in Osteopathy for newborns and pregnant women, to further expand my skills in delicate and essential areas of the human life cycle."
